BRIEF HISTORY OF New Life Apostolic Pentecostal Church
The FOUNDER AND SENIOR PASTOR APOSTLE JOSEPH K. McBOATENG had a vision from God that He was going to use him to carry His mighty name into-nations.
As a confirmation to this vision, one day around 1999 or thereabout, whilst praying earnestly, and meditating upon the word of God, he fell into a trance and had a vision again from God where he saw that he was preaching repentance and the second coming of Jesus Christ to a multitude of people from all walks of life.
Still, under the weight and the impact of the trance, he again saw a lake of fire with many people gnashing their teeth and burning in that lake of fire.
While gazing at these sufferers, the Lord gave him a message through a song ministration.
The message was “there would be no time for repentance when the big trumpet sounds”. Therefore, be prepared and be ready now, for the coming of the Lord is very imminent.
On many occasions, God has continued to reveal the call upon his life in many diverse ways to him that he must do his work. As time went by, he relocated to the United States of American where he joined the Church of Pentecost and served in many capacities in the Church.
Some of the offices he held were: Church Secretary, District Men’s Leader, Evangelism Leader, and the first New Jersey District Administrator. In the year, 2013 under his leadership, he worked with other leaders of the church, and together they established a new local Assembly for the Church.
The Lord manifests Himself mightily anytime he preaches and teaches the gospel. And his divine aptitude of singing and preaching the word of God continues to touch many lives.
This indeed is a testament of the great divine energy upon his life to do the work of God. There have been many instances, whereby lord Himself through prophecies has confirmed that indeed he is a chosen instrument to carry His word to many across the globe.
Galatians 1:15-16 (KJV) Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead; But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
The visions and revelations from God at some point got so intense that the Lord revealed to him to start a new ministry that, He, the Lord Himself Has ordained him to establish. He, therefore, started prayer and fasting assembly with some individuals like Brother Derrick Abban, Mama Ama Serwaa, Brother Edward Obeng, and Mr. Nicholas Mensah which resulted in the eventual establishment of NEW LIFE APOSTOLIC PENTECOSTAL CHURCH on the 1st day of July 2018 with the following members:
Apostle Alex K. Boateng (founder), Brother Derrick Abban; Brother Edward Obeng; Mr. Nicholas Mensah; Brother Prince Oduro; Brother Emmanuel Adjei. Sister Mary Boateng; Mama Ama Serwaa; Sister Valerie Shika Narh; Sister Beatrice Koranteng; Sister Rejoice Bor; and Sister Gifty Amofa.
The Church is passionate about the Great Commission of Christ and Church planting.
The Church is being led by Apostle Kwabena Boateng. Apostle is a believer in a straight forward concept of God’s will for man, and he is determined by rigid adherence to the scriptures, both the old and the New Testaments, and he does not give in to compromises, rules, agreements, covenants, or anything that is not taken directly from the Bible.
He is also a believer in the idea that only the elect of God shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, and that those elects are preordained by God, and are eternally justified.
Apostle completed his bachelor’s in theology in the year 2012 with Sure Foundation theological Seminary, Florida. Apostle Boateng is currently enrolled in Christian Leadership University, New York.
